MBR City (Mohammed Bin Rashid City) – the area is named after the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the current Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The multifunctional area covers 10,800 hectares. The Mall of the World shopping complex with the world's largest swimming pool, hospitals, schools, hotels, and sports centers are located in the area. The area is actively developing, parks, a golf course and a central park have been designed. In the Mohammed Bin Rashid City area, there are a number of general and private developers. Emaar and Meraas Holding are implementing large-scale projects that include residential and commercial real estate with infrastructure projects. Sobha or Azizi Developments, smaller developers, are engaged in the construction of luxury but affordable real estate complexes from villas to apartments.
