Meydan (5)

Meydan is a new modern area, where both residential and commercial real estate is concentrated: from villas and apartments to spacious offices. The name of the area comes from the Arabic word "meydan" – "meeting place".

The central element of the area is the world-famous Meydan Racecourse, which was opened in 2010 and since then has hosted the annual Dubai Cup, known as the richest horse racing in the world. Local authorities are constantly developing and improving the infrastructure of the district, building new roads connecting different parts of the district.
